I wonder if there is any correlation between rinsing practices and pre-cleaning the dishes before loading the dishwasher?
I wonder if there's a correlation between non-delicious regional cuisine and leaving soap on the dishes.
Neither Australia nor the UK are known for the taste of their food. Perhaps the soap makes bloomin' onions and kippers taste better.
