My husband got to Women in Art via Boingboing too, and called me over to watch it this afternoon - we both thought it was amazing. The director, eggman913, has a short film on Picasso on his page which kind of looks like practice for this video.

Fascinating. As one of the commenters there said, it's almost like watching one archetypal woman morph through the centuries, inspiring different artists to portray her in different ways.

Annie - I couldn't find the Picasso video; do you have a link?

Steph, first I double clicked the youtube on the other site, then clicked on the name of the one who posted it and ended up at the site of Director eggman913, with a selection of his/her other videos.
