Dinner

I ended up going with the 'rustic Italian' loaf at Whole Foods, with longhorn sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, and dijon mustard. I added some tomato slices and ham on B's. I was unable to locate an appropriate tomato-basil soup, so we had tortilla soup instead.

Delicious. I was thinking that would be the end of my craving, but then Lee has to go and tell me about apples and bacon and cheddar on whole-grain bread and now I'm going to have to pick up some more ingredients.

So now you're taking great, tempting food photos, too? You're making me think about having a grilled cheese sandwich today.

It's been a long, long time since I was pregnant, Steph, but back then foods like ham, bacon & corn dogs would have kept me awake or caused restless sleep. Maybe it was the high salt content? Like you, I craved strawberries, and was lucky enough to get quarts of them from a you-pick-them-yourself place.

I think the world would be a happier place if everyone would sit down and eat a grilled cheese sandwich.

I have so far not been blessed with heartburn, but many people have let me know that I'm asking for it. :)
Luckily, I don't have to worry about things like salt since my blood pressure is so low that I'm close to clinically dead.

Do you know of any pick your own places around here? I've been spending a great deal of money on 2-lb boxes of strawberries at the supermarket.

Although I've never been there, this place has been in my bookmarks for awhile:
Sweet Berry Farm
They just started picking, and there's a price list.

My strawberry child was born in Carolina - so going there won't save you any money!
